Acquisition Of Discovery Adventure Group and Imperium Tourism Holdings Assets



Australian Adventure Group Holdings Pty Ltd acquires assets from companies within Discovery Adventure Group Holdings Pty Ltd and Imperium Tourism Holdings Pty Ltd Australian Adventure Group Holdings Pty Ltd (AAGH) has announced the acquisition of a substantial suite of tourism assets from Discovery Adventure Group Holdings Pty Ltd and Imperium Tourism Holdings Pty Ltd. The acquisition includes popular Australian tour brands; Adventure Tours Australia, Outback Tour Services, Discovery Fraser, and Dingos Fraser and travel technology brands; Adventium Technology and Website Travel, in addition to travel agency brands; Peterpans Travel, Backpackers World and Student Uni Travel.

Backed by Melbourne-based investors, EBM Capital and Whitford Capital, who have extensive experience in the logistics, technology, and transport sectors, AAGH extends their portfolio into the tourism sector.

AAGH has confirmed that under the new ownership, all permanent staff and previous management teams from the acquired brands have been retained and the newly appointed board of directors are committed to the ongoing operations, recovery, and growth of the brands within the Australian tourism sector.

Ken Ryan will be joining the AAGH board as Chair, bringing extensive experience in the tourism and logistics sectors from a successful executive career at Qantas and as a board member of Toll Holdings.
